POLICE ACTIVITY ON LINDBROOK – Wednesday Night 4/10
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was conducting a surveillance of suspected Burglary suspects believed to be committing crimes throughout the region to include the West Los Angeles Area.  After observing the suspects committing a Burglary of a residence in the 10500 block of Lindbrook Drive, the LASD surveillance units requested assistance from LAPD-West L.A. Area uniformed patrol officers and attempted to stop the suspects.  During the attempted stop, the suspect’s vehicle collided with a police vehicle while attempting to escape.

Following the collision, three suspects fled from the vehicle with two being taken into custody shortly after.  The third suspect was apprehended in the area a short time later following a perimeter search.  The suspects were charged with residential burglary along with additional supplemental enhancements and charges.

2.  NEW APP – REAL TIME POLICE & FIRE ACTIVITY

From WLAPD Officer Chris Ragsdale:

I frequently receive calls, emails, and questions regarding police activity to include an orbiting police helicopter in the neighborhood. I am happy to report that there is now a free App that will notify you on your smart phone or device of real time police activity and emergency calls for service in your community.

You may download the Citizen App directly to your smart phone or device from the App store. Once you have set up the App with your area, you will begin to receive notifications and real time information on police and fire department activity and calls for service in your community.

View this local news story link for more detailed information about the Citizen App: https://ktla.com/2019/04/08/citizen-app-review-iphone-android-los-angeles/.
