MAKE-UP CLASSES:

If you missed any of the past classes or will miss any of the other classes, you may attend a make-up class as follows:

  • Go to www.CERT-LA.com and click on “Find a CERT class” on the left side.
  • Click on “Eventbrite”. This will give all the locations in the city where other CERT classes are being held.
  • Click on a convenient location and the class schedule will open up. Be sure to look for the appropriate make-up class (Class 1, Class 2, etc.), as each class covers different topics.
  • Residents should call the trainer just to confirm the date of the class.

Residents can find the Operational Area Make Up Class Form on the CERT-LA.com site, fill it out and have their trainer sign it to get credit. You must attend all classes to receive a “Certificate of Completion”.
