1.  LAPD CRIME REPORT

Current Trending Analysis:
Residential Burglaries: North of Wilshire Blvd. and Sunset Blvd. and adjacent hillside areas. Auto related crimes (Break Ins and Stolen Vehicles): South of Wilshire Blvd. between Sepulveda and Beverly Glen Blvd. Package Thefts appear to be trending throughout the area. Packages being delivered and left unattended in accessible areas are being stolen.

Protect yourself from becoming a victim and crime statistic. Ensure that you remove all visible items and valuables from inside of your vehicle. Your car, regardless of whether it’s locked and secured or not, is not a safe or secure place to leave ANYTHING! Remember, Lock It, Hide It, Keep It!

Burglary:

4.  BEVERLY GLEN REPAVING PROJECT

The Resurfacing Division has scheduled Phase II of resurfacing for Beverly Glen on Saturday November 15, 2014 and Sunday November 16, 2014. The 1.6 mile segment of resurfacing will be from Beverly Glen Place to Greendale Drive. The department will be profiling on Saturday the 15th and will repave the following day on Sunday the 16th, with an estimated 4100 tons of asphalt. The resurfacing crew will begin at 6:00am and will be done before 5:00pm on both days.

The department will only allow local traffic but no through traffic between Greendale Drive and Beverly Glen Place, as they will have many trucks and heavy equipment working within the narrow roadway. This is especially true on Sunday when they pave.

As always, any Emergency Response Vehicles will be given full access to their destination. With high expectations the department expects to complete this project within the two days.

SEEKING PEST CONTROL RECOMMENDATIONS

Can anyone recommend a pest control company, for dealing with small insects (not termites) under the house and around the exterior?  Seeking a local, small company rather than a large business.  Marie (310) 600-4726

SEEKING ROOM/GUESTHOUSE

Hello friends,
I am writing because I am looking for temp home for my wife, who will be treated at UCLA for chemo because of a leukemia diagnosis.  The rental rates nearby are high, and we would love the opportunity to rent a guesthome or room within the Little Holmby area.  It would be roughly during the month of December.  We need to be close to the UCLA Hospital. Thank you for your kindness.  Please email my wife at Vicky:  vcbarstow@aol.com
