1.  DAYLIGHT SAVINGS REMINDER

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed Saturday night, March 12. Daylight savings begins this Sunday, March 13! It’s time to “spring forward” – set your clocks forward one hour!

Daylight Saving Time is also a great time to check the things that keep us safe and ready for emergencies. It is a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, double check the expiration dates on your emergency kits and replace missing/expired items.

2.  PARKING PERMIT FEEDBACK

The City of L.A. is collecting feedback regarding the Residential Parking Permit Pilot Program, which eliminates permit stickers and replaces them with hanging placards.  If you would like to share your feedback with the City, please submit your opinion via the following link: Parking Permit Feedback Form

3.  THE PASSING OF BEVERLY HOROWITZ

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to express our condolences to the family of Beverly Horowitz who passed away recently. Beverly served on the board of Holmby Westwood Property Owners Association for many years and contributed to its progress in many ways . Her husband Ben (deceased) also served on our board, and together they volunteered their time on numerous committees over many years. Beverly will be greatly missed.
